Stef Lietaer:
I’m born and raised in Kortrijk in western Belgium. After a first life as semi-professional drumplayer, a second life as independent traveler with hiking-experiences in the Himalaya and several cycling-expeditions all over Europe, I fell in love with the North. This brought me to a husky farm in Swedish Lapland, where I worked as a dog handler. Quite soon my independent nature decided to start a tourist sleddogcompagny myself. Before I realised my third life had started. A three month hiking trip from Belgium with two Alaska Malamutes ended in South-East Scandinavia: Estonia.
After 2,5 years of training and breeding sled dogs, looking for the perfect location I met Esther. During the winter of 2008 together we started to provide sleddogtours.
