Welcome to Karulas Wolftrail dogsledtour

We organise adventurous dogsledtours in and around the national park Karula, in the south-east of Estonia.

On your own sled with dogteam you follow the guide into the wild forest, where you visit the most beautiful places in the park during tours from several hours up to moreday trips with bivouacs.

We are one of the few working Alaskan Malamute kennels in Europe. We like the old style way of life and use for our sledtours authentic polardogs. Our dogs have a thick fur and are capable of running and sleeping outside all winter long in arctic temperatures without jackets or booties.

We are sepcialised in private expeditions, for maximum 3 persons. Our kennel is deliberately small-scaled, so that we can give each individual dog enough personal attention and care, and so that we can give you as traveler intensive guidance in a familial atmosphere.
On Karulas Wolftrails basecamp you stay in a private loghouse with woodstove, bordering the dogmeadows. You are our personal guest and live with us and the dogs during the whole stay. Together we enjoy homemade diners with Estonian influences and our enthousiastic polardogs. Naturally you become one with the silence of the nature.

Every tour is a roundtour that starts at Karulas Wolftrail and also ends there.

For all trips a good physical and mental condition are required.
